Crispy Buffalo Chicken Sandwich

Description

The ultimate restaurant-style buffalo chicken sandwich minus all the GUILT!


Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 2 pounds of chicken breast
  • 1 TBSP Light butter melted and cooled
  • 1/31/2 Cup Hot sauce
  • 4 TBSP Cornstarch
  • 1 tsp Butt Kickin Buffalo
  • 2 tsp Nothin But Ranch
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper
  • 1/2 Cup Egg whites
  • 64 grams Shake N Bake
  • light jalapeno string cheese
  • 4 TBSP Bolthouse Cucumber Ranch dressing
  • 4 burger buns
  • Lettuce
  • Tomato

Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 390 or oven to 375 degrees;
  2.  In a bowl melt the butter, then add the buffalo sauce and 1 tsp Nothin’ But Ranch seasoning. Set aside;
  3. Take the chicken and pound it out until they are a nice even thickness;
  4. Pat dry, season with salt, pepper, Butt Kickin Buffalo & Nothin But Ranch;
  5. Take 1 TBSP of corn starch and lightly sift it over the chicken on both sides;
  6. Dip into the egg whites then immediately into the Shake N Bake;
  7. Spray both sides of the chicken with avocado oil spray or cooking spray;
  8. Place into the air fryer or oven and cook until it reads 165 degrees internal temperature (about 8-10 minutes);
  9. Place the cheese on top of the chicken (Chop or shred) and place back into the air fryer or oven until the cheese is melted (about 1 minute);
  10. Drizzle with more buffalo sauce, the ranch dressing and place on your desired bun with desired toppings!
